Features of this mode include electric drive, gliding, start-stop, boosting and recuperation. The boosting feature enables the electric motor to boost the combustion engine, briefly generating additional output and torque for the hybrid system. The S mode features sporty engine and transmission settings and performance can be boosted by the electric motor.
